A Muir Immersion Experience!
Campers come away with an appreciation of the life and legacy of John Muir
the naturalist, preservationist, writer, Martinez farmer and father. Based
at the John Muir National
Historic Site in Martinez. California
For Ages 8 - 12 yrs.
Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Each Weekly Session :
- Daily activities with National Park Service rangers
- Draw and paint with California landscape artist, Susan Barry
- Explore nature trails with Ranger Tad and Ranger Cheryl
- Experience John Muir through Frank Helling’s portrayal
- Learn about local plant and animal life
- Make sourdough bread with 139 year old starter
- Sketch, paint, sing, create inventions & make a journal, like Muir
- Take a buggy ride with John Muir’s grandson, Michael Muir

Tuition
$235
per participant, per session - includes camp T-shirt! Tuition is non refundable
after July 1, 2008.
